How we work
We believe that a structured approach is key to ensuring that we help you achieve your financial goals. You will know what to expect from us every step of the way. We have therefore created a five step approach to providing you with the right financial strategy and this will ensure that you understand every part of the advice process.
Step 1 Discovery Meeting
At this 50-60 minute meeting which is held at our expense we establish the issues that are important to you, including your financial concerns, aspirations, goals and what you expect from us as advisers. We will ask you for a brief overview of your personal situation and details of any current financial planning arrangements. If you wish to appoint us we advise you of the fee required to produce your Evaluation and Analysis report and the cost of this includes our strategy meeting.
Step 2 Evaluation and Analysis Report
This report will provide a full detailed, review and analysis of all of your existing assets and cover all aspects of your financial planning you asked us to review. It will take account of your stated objectives and financial ambitions. Specify and quantify shortfalls in your arrangements and describe options on how best to utilise your existing finances including assets, liabilities and income. Our report will be sent to you in advance of our Strategy meeting.
Step 3 Strategy Plan
We will arrange a meeting to discuss our report and how best we can address your financial planning needs. This will lead to agreement on actions we can take on your behalf with which you feel comfortable. We will advise you of the fees required to implement this advice and follow this up with a confirmation report confirming the strategy discussed and our specific reasons for actions we recommend.
Step 4 Implementation
If you agree with advice contained in your Strategy Report, we will arrange a further meeting to complete paperwork required to implement our recommendations.
Step 5 - Ongoing Service and Strategy Review
Establishing a sound financial strategy is a major step towards making the right choices to secure the rewarding lifestyle you wish to lead. However, true security comes with the knowledge that, as the world around you changes, your strategy also needs to evolve - not simply to address those changes, but to benefit from them wherever possible. In this way, your financial strategy becomes a dynamic plan that keeps helping you make the right choices and achieve your goals. We will discuss and agree the most appropriate review service that meets you requirements at our Strategy meeting.
